It is really considerate of you to think about the mother of the bride. Maybe the best solution here would be to talk to your step daughter about what she thinks you should wear. I am sure that she may be able to help you choose an outfit that is inline with her wedding day theme, but also different from her mothers outfit. I hope you have a wonderful time.
